Hey there! The image above is the jacket cover for my newest DVD, "Jay Wiseman Teaches Erotic Bondage For Beginners." I'm really proud of it. I worked with
some truly amazing people (including the models, who were both cute and amazing) to create it, and I think the final result is really excellent. One almost
couldn't ask for more for a DVD of this type. It provides more than two hours of really excellent and comprehensive introduction to the erotic art of rope bondage.
First Menu Screen
As tends to be the case with my work, it's an "absolutely no previous knowledge required" item. It
assumes that the viewer knows absolutely nothing about either BDSM in general or about rope bondage
in particular. (My rule for putting out products is: Would I give this product to my daughter and
her boyfriend and feel OK if they acted on the contents with no other outside information? In this
case, yep, I sure would.)
Second Menu Screen
Above is the first page of the menu screen. As you can see, we start from the very beginning and work our way throught the material in
a way that's logical, makes sense, and is easy to follow. I especially recommend that you check out the "model interviews" because they show what great talent we had
to work with on this project.
Third Menu Screen
In the second page of the menu, shown above, we start to get into the more advanced aspects of what's taught. There are four arm harnesses taught, so
all body sizes are addressed. The hogtie section is easy to follow and the techniques are quite effective. In the "Other Fun Ties" section there is a good
demonstration of the highly useful "Frogtie" technique and a wicked fun knees-tied-to-chest position demonstrated that opens up all kinds of possibilities
(so to speak). Oh, and yes, Sharp Eyes, there is indeed a typo on the second page menu. It should say "Erotic Bondage For Beginners" instead of
"Tight Immobilizing Bondage" at the top of the menu page. We'll be fixing that in future printings.
Please permit me to say that it looks, IMO, pretty darn snazzy. Folks, this was a LOT of
work -- much more than I anticipated -- but I'm really proud of and happy with the final
result. I think it will be an especially valuable resource for people wishing to explore bondage.
In many respects, this video is an enriched, expanded version of the presentation of a program that I
have presented several times to BDSM groups.
OK, time for some juicy details. Topics covered include:
General BDSM principles, including consent and safe words.
Pre-bondage discussion and negotiation.
Major safety precautions, including levels of monitoring and how to evaluate tightness.
Choosing ropes: lengths, width, and type.
Basic knots, clearly and simply explained.
Clearly explained and easy to learn single-limb (aka single-column) rope cuffs.
Clearly explained and easy to learn double-limb (aka two-column) rope cuffs.
Arm harnesses for any and all body sizes.
Additional special techniques, including the "Frogtie" and a very good knee-to-chest tie.
Simple but effective hogtie techniques.
There is some nudity and, of course, some bondage, but no explicit sex or heavy SM. Actually, overall the video is very similar to what you might see if you attended a typical BDSM educational presentation.
