Jay Wiseman's Legal Resources Page.
In May of 2005, I graduated from New College of California School of Law.
I passed the July 2006 California Bar Examination. For my thoughts on how and why I did so,

Two surprisingly good sources of legal information are the official website of a particular
state and the website of that state's bar association. There is often a surprisingly
large amount of easy to understand, consumer friendly law on such sites.
A good overall "start here" online resource for pretty much just about any legal
issue, it's hard to beat good old Nolo Press.
Another great online resource is Findlaw.com.
Yet another great resource is the San Francisco Law Library.
A web resource that blends usefulness with humor is the 'Lectric Law Library.
Of course, if you're completely lost, there's always good old Google. (Which
often works surprisingly well.)
